The dahlia cultivarIGA Rostock’ was hybridized by Wilhelm Schwieters (Germany) in 2003. This hybrid with salmon-orange flower heads is classified as “Seerosen-Dahlie” (“waterlily dahlia”) according to the horticultural ten-class system (for example, see Dahlien, vom Kultursymbol über Nahrungsquelle und Heilpflanze bis ...). The picture was taken in the Dahliengarten (Dahlia Garden) designed for the IGA Berlin 2017 exhibit in Germany.
