521 First Street in Downtown Davis: a Calico cat smiles at you

A Calico cat exhibits an interesting color pattern on its otherwise white fur. A typical pattern includes an orange-and-black spotwork. An entryway-conformed Calico Cat now joins the downtown art scenery of Davis, California. This sculpture comes as the result of one of the many art projects of local artist John Natsoulas, who ownes the John Natsoulas Art Gallery at 521 First Street. You can't miss the blocky Calico head when coming out of the Richards Boulevard tunnel, entering Downtown Davis. The Calico Cat is an Interactive Transmedia Sculpture. Place your phone near it and watch videos about its construction. Meow!
