Chemical Abstract Service Registry Numbers (CASRNs) for anions

by Axel Drefahl • www.axeleratio.com

The following table lists selected anions alphabetically by anion name along with the ionic formula and CASRN.
The CASRN is useful in locating anions in the ILThermo database where information on ionic liquids and their cations and anions can be found. Further, ion CASRNs can be used to identify cation-anion compounds (salts including ionic liquids) in the Chemical Property Viewer (CPV) that interfaces the ThermoML Archive and other chemical property data collections.
